Description
The Regional Contracting Office - SW Region is conducting market research to identify companies that have the capability to perform a contract that is to produce and distribute 35,000 base papers (THE SCOUT), a weekly civilian enterprise newspaper serving the Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton, California; the surrounding community; and, Marine Corps Recruit Depot (MCRD), San Diego, California. The contract will be for a Base Year and four one year option periods. This is not a formal solicitation or a request for proposal. This is a sources sought announcement seeking all businesses responses in order to determine participation in the acquisition. For the purpose of businesses, the NAICS Code is 511110 and the size standard of 500. This request for information is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, and the Government will not pay for information received as a result of this announcement. The results of this request may result in a future synops! is announced in FEDBIZOPPS as a request for proposal. The General Requirements is attached. Your response shall include the following information: Company Name, Company Size and Socio-Economic status (i.e. Small Business, 8(a), HUBZone, Woman-Owned Small Business, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, etc.) number of employees, revenue for the last three years, relevant past performance on same/similar work dating back no more than five years and your company's capability to do this type of work. Documentation of technical expertise must be presented in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that your company possesses the necessary functional area expertise and experience to compete for such services.
