THIS SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY AND IS NOT TO BE CONSTRUED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT FOR PROPOSAL AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS ANNOUNCEMENT This Sources Sought Market Research tool is issued for the purpose of determining whether to solicit this project as a competitive Small Business set-aside, Veteran Owned or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Request for Proposal. Under the North American Industry Classification System Code 532291, The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Centers in Fargo, North Dakota and Sioux Falls, South Dakota have a requirement for storage, delivery, set-up, instruction-in-use, maintenance, and/or pick-up of Government-owned Durable Medical Equipment for beneficiaries of the VA. Maintenance is required of all items picked up from veterans homes and returned to the contractors shop and included in this contract at no extra expense, unless major overhauls or significant parts replacements are required. Repairs, which are separate requests, are not part of this contract. The Government contemplates awarding an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity Contract with one base period of performance and four option periods. The number of deliveries varies but typically entails 250 deliveries for the Fargo VAMC and 170 deliveries for the Sioux Falls VAMC annually. Deliveries for the Fargo VAMC will be required throughout the state of North Dakota. Deliveries for the Sioux Falls VAMC will be required in Eastern South Dakota, Northwestern Iowa and Southwestern Minnesota. All small businesses are encouraged to respond. Interested small businesses shall submit detailed capability information on contracts they consider relevant in demonstrating their ability to perform all requirements of the. Include 1)Firm name, address, e-mail, telephone and fax number 2)Small businesses certification - 8(a), Hub Zone, Service Disabled Veteran or Woman-Owned 3)Past Experience - describe your experience of similar type, size and complexity to that which is the subject of this sources sought.
