Description
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement for Beech King Air 300 Pilot Qualification Training. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 611512. The FAA contemplates award of an Indefinite Delivery/Requirements type contract for a 1-year period with two 1-year option periods to renew. To be considered qualified, each offeror must possess an applicable training program approved under Federal Aviation Regulation (FAR) Part 121 or FAR Part 135 or a training course approved under FAR Part 141 or FAR Part 142 for the aircraft identified herein and shall submit a technical proposal in accordance with the provision in Section L of the solicitation entitled, "Preparation of Technical Proposals". When responding to this solicitation, the contractor is required to submit a copy of their FAA approved training program, along with proposed supplemental additions/changes. The approved program submitted must include a course syllabus, including proposed additions/changes, in sufficient detail to determine compliance with the minimum hourly requirements of the solicitation. All interested sources should first attempt to download the attached document(s) from the Internet. If downloading is not possible, all requests for the solicitation must be made in writing (FAX number 405-954-9468) or via email at Terry.Wilson@faa.gov. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered by the agency. Requests should be submitted to the attention of Terry Wilson and reference solicitation number DTFAAC-09-R-00215. This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
