Description
USDA APHIS Wildlife Services is requesting sources capable of conducting avian toxicology studies according to established U.S. Environmental Protection Agency guidelines. Studies are to be conducted on technical grade theobromine and caffeine. Studies will need to be conducted in accordance with Good Laboratory Practices (40CFR Part 106). A copy of all Quality Assurance records and reports will need to be sent to Sponsor during study conduct. Original study records and copies of key facility records will be archived by the Sponsor. A copy of the protocol, protocol changes, and final report will be archived by the Test facility. Laboratories winning this contract will be provided test material with Certificates of Analysis of technical materials and validated analytical methods for diet analysis. Interested vendors should sent a statement of capabilities via email to Nathan Johnson at Nathan.d.johnson@aphis.usda.gov. This statement should be no more than 3 pages and include the following information: Ability to delivery reports before September 30, 2009. Show ability through resumes, past performance or other verifiable method of conducting above studies.
