- GENERAL INFORMATION: Document Type:Presolicitation Notice Solicitation Number:8AZ2128 Posted Date:April 3, 2009 Original Response Date:April 24, 2009 Current Response Date:April 24, 2009 Archive Date:May 9, 2009 Classification Code:X—Lease or rental of facilities CONTRACTING OFFICE ADDRESS: General Services Administration, Public Buildings Service (PBS), Real Estate Acquisition Division, 300 West Congress Street, Tucson, AZ 85701 DESCRIPTION: The General Services Administration (GSA), is interested in leasing approximately 11,791 rentable square feet of contiguous office and related space yielding a minimum of 10,253 ANSI/BOMA office area square feet (previously usable) and thirty-eight (38) secured and reserved parking spaces. Visitor and employee parking must meet at least the minimum code requirements of the local jurisdiction. Parking is on site or within a two block radius may be considered. Only space located above the ground level will be considered for this requirement. TENANT:Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) LOCATION: Offered properties shall be located within Central Business Area of Tucson, AZ defined by the following boundaries: (Northern Boundary) Speedway Boulevard, (Eastern Boundary) Euclid Avenue from Speedway Boulevard, continuing southerly becoming Park Avenue and continuing to 22nd Street, (Southern Boundary) 22nd Street, (Western Boundary) Grande Avenue from Speedway Boulevard and continuing southerly and becoming Mission Road and continuing to 22nd Street. LEASE TERM: The lease will be for ten (10) years, five (5) years firm. REQUIRED: Any offered buildings must be of sound and substantial construction, of a type generally recognized as modern, office space. The space shall be altered to meet the Government’s requirements, shall have a fully serviced rent structure, shall be fully accessible in accordance with ADA standards, and shall conform to applicable Life Safety Performance Level of RP 6 (seismic standards). Offered space must be located above the ground floor and contiguous. Offered space must not be within 1000 feet of a residential area or residences, schools, hospitals, family clinics, medical offices, churches or other houses of worship or public service agency offices.
