Description
THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES AMENDMENT NO. 2 TO THE COMBINED SYNOPSIS/RFP FORCALIBRATION AND REPAIRS OF STEAM BOILER CONTROLS. Companies shall acknowledge allamendment(s) in their proposal. This notice serves as the official amendment to subjectsynopsis/RFP and a written amendment will not be issued.The purpose of this amendment is to clarify paragraph 3 of the synopsis/RFP, updateAttachment E, add Attachment F, allow offerors to submit offers via electronic mail(e-mail), and change the name of the First Task Order to Representative Task Order (RTO)#1. Paragraph 3 of the synopsis/RFP, which covers instructions to propose, is hereby deletedand replaced with the following:Offerors shall provide with their proposals: a. Labor categories, and hourly rates forthe work described in RTO #1 and Statement of Work (SOW) for 6 years in Attachment E. b.Offerors shall price out RTO #1 in Attachment F. When pricing out RTO #1, offerors shallinclude labor hours, labor rates, other direct costs (if any), and assume a material costof $1,000, and include in the total price for RTO #1. c. Offerors shall provide atechnical proposal. The technical proposal must provide a description in sufficientdetail to show that the services offered meets the Governments requirement. d. Offerorsshall include references (including subcontracts) with sufficient detail from previouswork (minimum of 3) to support past performance in the following areas: -Prior experiencetuning boilers burning multiple fuels, including alternative fuels, with fully meteredcombustion control. Programming experience with programmable logic controllers forboiler control. Allen Bradley ControlLogix or equivalent. Offerors may submit their proposals via e-mail by the due date and time below. If anofferor submits their proposal via e-mail please send to Craig.F.Keish@nasa.gov. The due date for receipt of proposals is not extended, however offers are now due by5:00pm Eastern Standard Time (EST) on April 17, 2009.Companies shall provide the information stated in the synopsis/RFP posted on the NASAAcquisition Internet Service (NAIS) on March 16, 2009. Documents related to thisprocurement are available over the Internet. These documents reside on a World Wide Web(WWW) server which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
