- This is a Sources Sought Synopsis ONLY. Requests for copies of solicitations will not receive a response. The Joint Product Manager for Consequence Management (JPM-CM) is conducting a market survey to identify manufacturers of equipment with the capability to provide chemical, biological, and radiological (CBR) sampling, detection and identification equipment, personal protection equipment (PPE), and decontamination equipment to be used by CBRN Response Teams (CBRNRTs), such as the 20th Support Command and the National Guard Bureau Civil Support Teams. PM-CM is also interested in conducting a survey of developmental equipment meeting the above-mentioned capabilities that are due to be on the market in the near future (1-3 year period). JPM CM is interested in personal protection equipment, decontamination equipment, and portable sampling, detection (Point and Stand-off) and identification equipment for Chemical Warfare Agents (CWA)/ Toxic Industrial Chemicals/ Toxic Industrial Materials (TIC/TIM), Biological Warfare Agents (BWA) and Radiological Materials. No other specifications or information other than what is shown above is available at this time. Only those companies, which have the capability to provide this equipment, need to respond to this announcement. Interested companies must submit a written request to --- pmcm@battelle.org --- and include company name, address, telephone and facsimile numbers, point of contact and informational brochures. Manufacturers of equipment with the capabilities previously mentioned will be provided a user name and password within five (5) days after receipt of the above information to access an on-line survey. Manufacturers will be required to provide additional equipment information via the on-line survey, to -include all logistic information, associated ancillary equipment, 3rd party test data and certifications if available. Manufacturers already possessing access to the survey are requested to review their information and ensure it is up to date. The on-line survey will be available for vendor input on 6 Apr 09 and final inputs are requested NLT 29 May 09. Participation in the PM CM survey is voluntary, and the government does not intend to pay any costs associated with this sources sought announcement. Failure to provide detailed information to the survey may limit opportunities for product(s) to be considered for future requirements associated with this program.
