- Requirements-type contract for meals, lodging, and transportation for applicants processing through the Anchorage Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS), Anchorage, Alaska, during the base period of 1 October 2009 through 30 September 2010, with four one-year option periods. Daily services include, but are not limited to, supper, overnight lodging, breakfast the following morning, enmass transportation to the MEPS immediately following breakfast, and other miscellaneous transporation as called for by the contract. Estimated number of applicants processed annually is 1,744. The average number of applicants processed daily is 7; however, the possibility exists for the daily number to reach 20. Services are required seven days a week, except for Federal holidays and approximately 5 training days per year. This contract will be awarded on a Best Value basis using the tradeoff source selection process. The appropriate NAICS code is 721110 with a size standard of $7,000,000.00. This acquisition is unrestricted; all responsible sources may submit a proposal(s). The solicitation will be posted on the Fort Knox MICC Center homepage at: http://doc.knox.army.mil on or about April 17, 2009, with proposals due on or about May 19, 2000. All amendments to the solicitation will be likewise posted to this website. Paper copies of the solicitation or amendments will not be issued. Contractors are cautioned to check the website periodically and acknowledge all amendments. No solicitation mailing list will be compiled. Contractor is responsible for all costs of producing and mailing their proposal. Proposal must be written, submitted in accordance with the instructions on page 3 of the solicitation, and mailed to Mission and Installation Contracting Command Center Knox, CCMI-RCK, Bldg 1109B, Ste 250, 199 6th Ave, Fort Knox, KY 40121-5720. Package exterior must be marked with solicitation number (Block 5 of the solicitation) and the opening date (Block 8). Proposal will not be accepted by email or facsimile.
