- The Washington Headquarters Service, Acquisition and Procurement Office (WHS/A&PO) Department of Defense, 1155 Defense Pentagon, Washington, DC 20301-1155 is requesting a Open Market quote. The Government intends to purchase two Xerox High Speed Color/ B&W Digital Imaging Systems on a Brand name or equal basis with a 5 year maintenance agreement, for each. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 811212 with a small business size standard of 100 employees. This is not a small business set-aside. The Government is requesting quotes concerning Trade Ins that will off set any portion of the price of this requirement. Please provide the trade in credit value in your quote. To schedule a site visit to view the trade in copiers the POC’s are listed below. The contractor will ensure all cost associated with the transportation of the trade in copiers. 1.Quotes must be firm-fixed-priced, and include all quantities listed, all or none. **RFQ Close Date: 09 April 2009, 12pm EST** 2.The Government will evaluate quotes and make a selection based on the lowest priced, technically acceptable quotation meeting the specified salient characteristics. The offeror will include descriptive literature such as illustrations, drawings, or a clear reference to previously furnished descriptive data or information available to the Contracting Officer; and clearly describe any modifications the offeror plans to make in a product to make it conform to the solicitation requirements. Mark any descriptive material to clearly show the modifications. The Government is not responsible for locating or obtaining any information not identified in the offer as defined in FAR 52.211-6. 3.Submittals after the closing date and time of the RFQ will not be accepted 4.The point of contact (POC) for this request for quote is Rodney E. Brooks, Contract Specialist at rodney.brooks@whs.mil or 703.6964106 5.Offeror’s shall include Tax Identification Number, CAGE code, Central Contractors Registration Number, DUNNS Number and applicable FSC Codes stated on their quotes. 6. The contractor shall: •Provide full service maintenance on all parts, labor and transportation costs associated with maintaining the equipment in good operating condition following commercial standards. Parts provided must be original manufacturer parts and supplies. This includes supplies, toner, drums, developer, and staples. Maintenance must include 40,000 black and white copies per month and 5,000 color copies per month. There shall be no copy overages charges. •Provide On-Site Field Maintenance. Defined as repair service at the designated equipment location. •Provide service from 8:30AM to 5:00PM, Monday through Friday, holidays excluded. A response time of four (4) business hours will be maintained at a minimum, with a performance goal of 2-hour response time. •Provide materials used in the services covered by this contract are furnished on an exchange basis.
