- THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO THE MULTIPLE AWARD CONTRACT CONTRACTORS UNDER THE EXISTING ELLSWORTH AFB 8(A) MACC IDIQ CONTRACT. Repair To LEED - Transportation Complex (B101, B102 & B104) 1. Project shall consist of design, investigate, and Repair To LEED Transportation Complex, Buildigs 101, 102, and 104. Accomplish all design, investigate, and repair work for Buildings 101, 102,and 104 as detailed in the statement of work accomplishing various energy and facility improvements to the Transportation Complex (Buildings 101, 102, and 104). As a minimum, the following work shall be accomplished: a. Building 101: i. Replace overhead doors with 2" insulated overhead door and install new weather stripping. Interior finish shall be suitable for a car wash environment ii. Replace existing siding and roofing. New wall panels shall be R-19 with an interior finish suitable for a car wash environment. New roof panels shall be R-33 with an interior finish suitable for a car wash environment. Exterior colors to match base architectural scheme. iii. Replace existing hot water boiler with high efficiency, condensing type boilers. Replace existing pumps serving the floor heat system. iv. Replace the existing car wash hot water heater with a high efficiency, condensing type water heater. v. Replace existing lighting with energy efficient lighting. Install occupancy sensors where applicable. Investigate and propose possible day lighting options. vi. New mechanical equipment shall include points that tie into the existing Honeywell control system. The contractor shall be responsible for programming all new devices including programming on the existing Honeywell EBI system. b. Building 102: i. Replace exterior windows with 1" thick thermal pane windows, clad exterior and inside light laminated for force protection. Exterior clad color and interior finish to match existing finishes. Investigate the possibility of installing insulated panels instead of windows in some locations. ii. Replace all seals and weather stripping on overhead doors. iii. Replace existing lighting with energy efficient lighting. iv. Replace existing electrical transformers within the facility with high efficiency K rated transformers. c. Building 104: i. Replace wall insulation in vehicle parking area with R-19 insulation. ii. Replace mechanical systems that serve the office areas. iii. Refurbish and reactivate the air handling unit in the vehicle parking area. iv. Replace existing lighting with energy efficient lighting. v. New mechanical equipment shall include points that tie into the existing Honeywell control system. The contractor shall be responsible for programming all new devices including programming on the existing Honeywell EBI system. 2. The contractor shall be responsible for accomplishing all design and investigative services for this project.
