- The U.S. Forest Service, Trapper Creek Job Corps Center, located at 5139 W. Fork Road, Darby, MT 59829, is a residential, education and vocational training facility for student’s ages 16 – 25 years of age. Trapper Creek Job Corps Center has a requirement for a certified teacher to conduct a GED education program that will lead to a Montana State GED/High School Diploma. The performance period is 12 months, July 1, 2009 through June 30, 2010, for the base period, and 4 possible option year periods. The individual performing the services must be certified as a teacher in the State of Montana. This requirement will be solicited and awarded in accordance with the Acquisition of Commercial Items, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12. The estimated price range for the contract period (including options) is between $100,000 and $250,000. It is Set-Aside for 100% Small Business. The NAICS code for this requirement is 611699 and the small business size standard is $7 million. Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration Database located at http://www.ccr.gov, and must complete electronic representations and certifications on the ORCA database located at http://orca.bpn.gov to be considered responsive. All responsible sources may submit a quote for consideration. The Government plans to award a firm fixed-price contract resulting from the solicitation to the responsible quoter whose quote conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government based on the evaluation factors listed in the solicitation. This pre-solicitation notice does not constitute a solicitation. The solicitation will be posted to this website for downloading and will provide all necessary information for quotes to be prepared and submitted for consideration. Quoters shall monitor the website www.fbo.gov for the solicitation. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be issued and telephone requests or fax requests for the solicitation will not be accepted. Quotes will be accepted at the address listed, and to the attention of Judi Neukirchner, Contract Specialist.
