- Description
- The U.S. Coast Guard will issue a nationwide competitive 8(a) Small Business Program Solicitation for Armed Guard and Security Desk Services at USCG Integrated Support Command, 1519 Alaskan Way, South, Seattle, Washington. This acquisition will be procured using procedures under FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation. This requirement is to provide all labor, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform the service requirements in accordance with the Performance Work Statement. The period of performance will be 01 October 2009 through 30 September 2010, with four (4) one year option. If all options are exercised the contract terms will end on 30 September 2014. The applicable North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 561612, Armed Guard Services with a size standard of $18.5 million. Any correspondence shall be in writing and reference Request for Proposal (RFP) Number HSCG89-09-R-6SRE10. All prospective offerors are responsible to visit the Federal Business Opportunities website frequently and obtain any amendments or other information pertaining to this solicitation. The solicitation, performance work statement, and attachments, will only be available by downloading from Federal Business Opportunities website. Offeorrs must be registered in the Centralized Contractor Registration in order to receive a contract award from any DHS activity. Offerors who are not registered with CCR may be considered non-responsive and may not be considered in the evaluation. Contractors may access the CCR and register at http://www.ccr.gov. FAR Clause 52.232-33 is applicable to this procurement. Ensure DUNS and CAGE Code numbers are provided with the proposal. To receive your DUNS number, call 1-800-333-0505 or www.dnb.com. The resultant contract under this solicitation will be firm fixed price and awarded to the responsible offeror providing the best value to the Government. The entire Request for Proposal and any other subsequent amendments will be available electronically by accessing www.fedbizopps.gov on or about 28 April 2009.
