- NASA/GSFC has a requirement for a Software-Defined Radio Platform.1)Software-Defined Radio Platform: QTY: 1 Specifications: Specifications for Item number 1: -SX95 Virtex 5 Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA);-Minimum of one (1) 14-Bit Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC) - 30MHz to 125MHzProgrammable Clock; -Minimum of two (2) 14-Bit Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC) - 30MHz to 125MHzProgrammable Clock; -AMCC 405EX Processor - Minimum of 600MHz, VxWork Operating System (Preferred);-Board Support Package - Source Code Included;-Minimum of 256MByte Flash Memory;-Test Connectors Minimum of 92 User I/O, Double Row 0.1 Spacing Header;-RS530 Interface - DB-25 Header;-Non-differential Signals Interfaces - Two (2) TTL-Compatible Inputs, Three (3)TTL-Compatible 50-Ohms Outputs;-Ethernet 10/100/1000Mbps - Ethernet Drivers, RS45 Connector Interface;-Minimum of four (4) Front Panel LEDs;-6U Compact PCI Footprint - Use Chassis to Hold and Power the Boards, Connections to thePCI Backplane for Connection between Multiple Boards;-Technical Support;-Onsite Training;-Design Schematics.This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared inaccordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additionalinformation included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the onlysolicitation, which is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ); quotes are beingrequested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Offerors are required to usethe On-Line RFQ system to submit their quote. The On-line RFQ system is linked above orit may be accessed at http://prod.nais.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/eps/bizops.cgi?gr=C&pin=. Theinformation required by FAR Subpart 12.6 is included in the on-line RFQ.The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12 and the SimplifiedAcquisition Procedures set forth in FAR Part 13.Interested organizations may submit their quotes, capabilities, and qualifications toperform the effort in writing to Jasmine Jett via the On-Line RFQ system no later than4:30 PM on 04/22/2009 Eastern Time. Questions regarding this acquisition must be submitted in writing toJasmine.N.Jett@nasa.gov no later than 4:30 PM on 04/16/2009 Eastern Time. It is thequoter's responsibility to monitor this site for the release of amendments (if any).Potential quoters will be responsible for downloading their own copy of this notice, theon-line RFQ and amendments (if any).
