- The Federal Bureau of Prisons - Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to make a single or multiple awards for the provision of three (3) Dental Assistants and three (3) Pharmacy Technicians for the inmate population at the Federal Correctional Complex (FCC) in Victorville, California. The successful contractor shall provide these services in accordance with the responsibilities outlined in the Statement of Work for Dental Assistants and Pharmacy Technicians. Special Qualifications are detailed for interested parties pertaining to these positions. The award(s) will be made to the responsible contractor who submits the most advantageous quote to the Government. The estimated quantities for the base and each option year are estimated at 4680 sessions with a one (1) hour duration for each session. Contractor shall provide these services for a minimum of 30 hours per week. The Contracting Officer anticipates awarding a indefinite-delivery, requirements type contract with firm-fixed unit prices. The contract period shall consist of a 12-month base year with four (4), 12 month option years for renewal. The solicitation will be available on or about April 28, 2009 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. All future information concerning the acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through the website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about the acquisition. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website for registration is www.ccr.gov. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on or about May 27, 2009. The North American Industry Classification System code for this solicitation is 621399. This solicitation is 100% small business set-aside. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
