- This requirement is for Contractor to remove and replace an existing twenty-five (25) ton packaged, air-cooled Trane Chiller, model number CGAA0254MC51CC5C4B161AEJ, located at the VA Northern Indiana Health Care System (Fort Wayne Campus), 2121 Lake Avenue, Building # 1, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46805. The work involved includes, but not limited to demolition, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, general construction, alterations, and landscaping.SET-ASIDE INFORMATION: This solicitation is a 100% Set-Aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business. North American Industrial Classification System Code is 238220 which have a small business size standard of $13M. REGISTRATION: Contractor must be currently registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database, http://www.ccr.gov, must have completed the annual Representations and Certifications (ORCA) found at http://orca.bpn.gov, and must have submitted the annual VETS100 Report located at http://vets.dol.gov/vets100/. PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $25,000 and $100,000. SOLICITATION: Solicitation Number VA-251-09-IB-0169 will be issued on or about April 7, 2009 with a closing date of April 30, 2009. The Solicitation document will be posted at www.fedbizopps.gov. Specifications and Drawings will be available, electronically with the solicitation documents. Solicitation amendments will be posted at www.fedbizopps.gov. All interested bidders are recommended to register at www.fedbizopps.gov. It is the responsibility of the Contractor to monitor this site for the release of any information or documents in the special notices, the solicitation and amendments, if any. All requests for information shall be in writing to the Contracting Specialist and shall be received via email at Lee.Grant@va.gov. No telephone inquiries will be accepted.
