- The Asheville VAMC, NC is pre-soliciting qualified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses in construction to provide all labor, materials, transportation, equipment and supervision to Renovate Phlebotomy Area at the Asheville VAMC, NC. All work shall be completed within 210 days after notice to proceed, which includes 60 days allowance for submittals. The NAICS code is 236220; small business size is $33.5M. The estimated dollar amount of this procurement is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Expect the solicitation to be posted with uploaded drawings and specifications on/or about 22 Apr 09. No hard copies provided. Pre-bid/walk-through is scheduled for 28 Apr 09 at 1000hrs, only one will be offered at the same time to all interested parties and will be at bldg. 15, 3rd floor, rm 330. Bid opening will be on/or about 22 May 09 and the deadline for receipt of questions is 10 days prior. Firms must be registered at Central Contractor Registry and at Vet Biz and Online Representations and Certifications must be completed by each bidder prior to the bid opening. Specifics on the project is as follows:It includes, but is not limited to, the architectural, electrical and mechanical construction associated with renovating portions of the mud room and adjacent areas for a phlebotomy waiting room, 10 blood drawing rooms, associated bathrooms, and a lab storage room. Square footage is approximately 2500 gross square feet. Work will include wall demolition, wall construction, finishes including paint, wallcovering, acoustical ceilings, flooring, associated electrical work including electrical devices and lights, and associated HVAC including supply and return drops. Construction shall be in accordance with professionally developed drawings and specifications.
