Description

PRESOLICITATION NOTICE: THIS PROJECT IS SET-ASIDE FOR CERTIFIED HUBZONE CONCERNS. THE BID OPENING DATE IS May 21, 2009 at 2:00 PM. BIDDING DOCUMENTS, PROJECT DRAWINGS AND SPECIFICATIONS WILL BE ISSUED APRIL 22, 2009. The estimated value of this procurement is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. The applicable North American Industry Class System (NAICS) 2007 code is 237990. The small business size standard is a three-year averaged annual gross receipt of $33.5 million. Bid, payment and performance bonds are required. The solicitation in its entirety and any amendments will be available at no charge online at http://www.fbo.gov under the above solicitation number. This project is to provide all labor, tools, materials, and equipment to construct a new 64 foot aid-to-navigation (ANT) pier located at U.S. Coast Guard Station Corpus Christi, Nueces County, Texas. This project is to replace the existing 64 foot ANT pier with a new pier consisting of pre-cast concrete piles and concrete bents with wood stringers and wood deck. The new 64 foot ANT pier will be 9 ft wide x 70 ft long and will also have another leg 9 ft wide x 60 ft long to accommodate a 47 ft boat. Electrical and potable water shore ties will also be installed. The performance period will be 180 calendar days.
