Description

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Procurement and Grants Office intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to obtain laboratory measurements on biologic specimens for Thyroid profile (TP). This is a performance-based contract. A single award will result from this solicitation, with a firm-fixed price contract. The period of performance is a base period of 5 months plus 4 12-month option periods. Testing will be done using the Beckman Access assay. Contractor must have a well-established quality assurance system by which random or systematic errors may be detected and monitored. CLIA certified or equivalent certification is required. The RFP documents will be available electronically on the Federal Business Opportunities Web Site at http://FEDBIZOPPS.GOV under RFP Number 2009-N-11208 on or about 04/30/2009, with a 30 day closing. Paper copies WILL NOT be available and telephone requests or fax requests will not be accepted. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site for any updates/amendments. Prospective offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for award.
