- You may be a sponsor for the largest Kirtland AFB signature event of the year! Over 6,000+ in attendance annually and growing! Summer Bash offers live music, a huge car and cycle show, games, static displays, pet adoption booths, KAFB Squadron presence, participation from all our Services, vendors, a Kids Korral, and local community features all in the heart of Kirtland AFB at Hardin Field. This event is designed to provide all DoD partners, Active Duty members and their families, Civilian employees, and retirees the opportunity to enjoy what Kirtland AFB and Albuquerque have to offer. Air frames are in attendance and a mascot race is sure to thrill the kids along with jump castles, food, and prizes for all ages! Cash and In-Kind spnsorship will be accepted to purchase enhancements such as entertainment and prizes.
