Description
Description of Work: The Philadelphia VA Medical Center (PVAMC) intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the services of a qualified plumbing contractor to replace Condensate Tanks and related work at PVAMC, 3900 Woodland Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19104. The contractor will be required to completely prepare the sites for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnish labor and materials and perform work for the replacement of existing condensate pumps in Buildings 1 and 21 and pipe replacement in Buildings 2 and 8. Work includes general construction, mechanical and electrical work and necessary removal of existing structures and construction. THIS REQUIREMENT IS 100% SET ASIDE FOR SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES. The RFP, including all documents, specifications, forms and drawings, will be available for download at no charge from the Federal Business Opportunities website (https://www.fbo.gov) on or about May 4, 2009. Proposals will be due by 2:00 P.M., June 3, 2009. The period of performance will be 120 days.
