- RECOVERY: 1. This Task Order is for two rubber removals, spring and fall of 2009, consequently there are two on-site performance periods. 2. SPRING 2009 DESCRIPTION OF WORK: 2.1 Remove approximately 632,000SF (80' x 7900') of rubber on the runway at locations directed by Construction Management (CECC). 2.2 Re-stripe centerline (white-18,150SF-60.5ea 3'x100' stripes). 2.3 Re-stripe BAK12 circles (yellow w/o beads-942SF-12ea 10' diameter circles). 2.4 Re-stripe leadoff taxi-lines (yellow 2,539SF-5,077LF 6"wide) on the runway. Stop all taxi-lines three-foot short of the edge line. 2.5 Re-stripe edge lines (white-58,680SF-9780'x 3'wide x 2 sides). 2.6 Re-stripe threshold markings (white-14,400SF). 2.7 Re-stripe touchdown markings (white-34,200SF). 2.8 Re-stripe runway designation numbers (approx 500SF). 2.9 Total accumulative re-striping of above requirement is 129,411SF. 2.10 The contractor shall provide the locations and amounts (SF) of rubber removed to the Construction Inspector of record (not the escort) by 1000 hours of the day the rubber was removed. 2.11 Remove rubber for ten consecutive days from 0100 hours to 0600 hours beginning 15 Apr 2009 and ending on 24 Apr 2009, specifically: 15 APR 0100-0600 16 APR 0100-0600 17 APR 0100-0600 18 APR 0100-0600 19 APR 0100-0600 20 APR 0100-0600 21 APR 0100-0600 22 APR 0100-0600 23 APR 0100-0600 24 APR 0100-0600 2.12 Re-striping on Saturday, 25 Apr 2009, from 0800 hours until 2000 hours. 2.13 Re-striping back-up date is Sunday, 26 Apr 2009, same hours. 2.14 Staging area will be an aircraft parking pad along F Taxiway as directed. 2.15 Coordinate haul route with Construction Management. 3. FALL 2009 DESCRIPTION OF WORK: 3.1 Remove approximately 480,000SF (80' x 6000') of rubber on the runway at locations directed by Construction Management (CECC). 3.2 Re-stripe centerline (white-18,150SF-60.5ea 3'x100' stripes). 3.3 Re-stripe ONLY THE CENTER TWO BAK12 CIRCLES ON EACH END(yellow w/o beads-314SF-4ea 10' diameter circles). 3.4 Re-stripe leadoff taxi-lines (yellow 2,539SF-5,077LF 6"wide) on the runway. Stop all taxi-lines three-foot short of the edge line. 3.5 Total accumulative re-striping of above requirement is 21,003SF. 3.6 The contractor shall provide the locations and amounts (SF) of rubber removed to the Construction Inspector of record (not the escort) by 1000 hours of the day the rubber was removed.
