Description
Statement of Work The Office of the Federal Detention Trustee (OFDT) was established by a Congressional directive to exercise all power and functions authorized by law relating to the detention of federal prisoners and illegal aliens. Accordingly, OFDT leads the development of DOJ detention policy and manages federal detention resources to maximize available detention space. OFDT intends to award a contract for detention expert support services. The Contractor will accomplish the following: 1. Provide non-personal expert specialized services, consultation, assistance, and deliverables associated with all aspects of conducting facility reviews of Non-Federal contract jails and detention facilities housing United States Marshals Service (USMS) and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detainees. 2. Provide consulting, training, research, program development, and service products as required. The contractor will coordinate activities with USMS, ICE, and Bureau of Prisons (BOP) field personnel to facilitate the implementation of the Quality Assurance Review programs. 3. Support the implementation of the OFDT pilot projects being undertaken nationwide. 4. Act as a Liaison with BOP, USMS, and JPATS to expedite the sentce to commitment timeframe. The anticipated period of performance will be from June 1, 2009 through September 30, 2009 (Base Period); with four (4) Option Periods. All prospective offerors must have a commercial and government entity code (CAGE Code). All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). This solicitation is a total small business set aside. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code is 541611.The statement of work is attached.
