Description
SOLICITATION for CONSTRUCTION Construction of Replacement of Air Handling System, System Renovation and Upgrade at Pico Del Este Radar Site, Rio Grande, Puerto Rico. The work includes, but is not limited to, installation of HVAC equipment, electrical and mechanical work. Estimated performance time: 60 calendar days. Estimated price range: $100,000.00 to $150,000.00.Issue date for solicitation: April 10, 2009Due date for offers: April 29, 2009Estimated start date for project: May 11, 2009 This project is 100% set-aside for 8(a) certified small disadvantaged businesses. The NAICS code for the acquisition is 238220, Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors. To be considered by award of this project, the contractor must be currently registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database (website: ww.ccr.gov). Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
