Description
Parachutist Oxygen Systems/Pump Systems Air Combat Command, Acquisition Management Integration Center (ACC AMIC), Langley AFB VA, is in the process of determining the acquisition strategy to obtain 328 PHANTOM Parachutist Oxygen Systems, associated pre-breathing console upgrades, cylinder upgrades, 10 PHANTOM Test Stands, 5 Haskel Air Driven Gas Booster Systems and 4 portable Haskel Pump Systems for Guardian Angel Parachutists. All documents associated with this projected requirement will be posted on the FedBizOpps website, www.fbo.gov. The Government seeks industry input to determine if this acquisition should remain a total small business set-aside under the auspices of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 19. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 336419 with a size standard of 1000. Interested small business concerns who are certified and qualified as a small business and registered in the Central Contractor Register (CCR) under NAICS 336419 should submit a capabilities package (please limit to no more than 10 pages total) outlining their key business abilities relevant to the performance of this requirement. This potential requirement may be set-aside for small business participation pending the interest received in response to this synopsis. Interested sources that believe they have the capability to perform should respond to the POC below with affirmation that they are a small or large business, woman-owned, veteran-owned, and/or have existing GSA or other contracts that can be used for this order under the above applicable NAICS code. All companies are encouraged to respond and submit their capability statements to this office NLT COB on 17 April 2009. The Government plans to consider all information submitted in response to this sources sought notice and use the Internet and e-mail as the primary means of disseminating and exchanging information. Hard copies of documents posted on FBO will not be made available. The Government will provide email confirmation of receipt of your statements. If companies do not receive an email confirmation after submitting their package, they are urged to verify receipt telephonically.
