Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Fort Carson intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price Contract for conference services in Summit County, Colorado. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 721110. This solicitation will end on 14 April 2009, 2:00 p.m. Mountain Time. The contractor shall only invoice for and be paid for the amount of guests confirmed by the government point of contact within 72 hours in advance of the retreat. All recreational activities and incidental room charges are to be paid for by the individuals and not billed against this purchase order. Please provide unit pricing for Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINS) as outlined below. The quantities identified in this announcement are estimates used for evaluation purposes only and do not necessarily represent the total numbers ordered. Guests will check in on 24 April and checkout on 26 April. 1.The maximum numbers for this retreat are as follows: 120 adults and 50 Children, ages 0 to 13 years old. 2.The vendor shall provide a maximum of 60 sleeping rooms. The sleeping rooms shall include a queen-sized bed or larger for the adults, beds for the children and private baths. The room shall also include a refrigerator and television. Families need to be provided a private room that allows them to live like a family (i.e. church camps with bunk beds and group housing are NOT acceptable). 3.The vendor shall provide buffet meals with beverages and coffee breaks during as follows: a.Friday April 24: i.Adult Dinner ii.Children Dinner b.Saturday April 25: i.Adult Breakfast ii.Children Breakfast iii.Adult Lunch iv.Children Lunch v.Adult Dinner vi.Children Dinner vii.Coffee Breaks for the adults (0830-1130) c.Sunday April 26: i.Adult Breakfast ii.Children Breakfast iii.Coffee Breaks for the adults (0830-1030) 4.The vendor shall provide a conference room for training on Friday night (1900-2030), Saturday (0830-1130) and Sunday mornings (0830-1030 hrs) to accommodate 120 adults. The room shall be furnished with round tables, chairs, audio, podium with microphone, proxima projector and screen, and DVD capability. The conference room shall have air-conditioning and heating capability for climate control. The vendor shall provide computer connectivity with audio and video capability for government provided computers. 5.The vendor shall provide a separate conference room located in the same building in close proximity to the meeting room to accommodate vendor-provided childcare services. Services are required to be performed by a licensed childcare provider. Services are required on Friday (1900-2030), Saturday (0830-1130) and Sunday (0830-1030). This room will be conducive to setting up a children's activities area. The vendor shall provide computer connectivity with audio and video capability and a large TV and DVD player. The vendor shall provide all equipment for the childrens activities. 6.CONTRACTOR QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIFICATIONS: a.The vendor shall be located within Summit County. The vendor shall be capable of providing all services and facilities listed in this Statement of Work on premise. The vendor shall have on-site recreational facilities and be located within 20 miles of restaurants, shops and operating ski lifts.
