- This project involves Storm Drainage Repairs at the Hart-Dole-Inouye (HDI) Federal Center in Battle Creek, Michigan for the purpose of correcting drainage repair problems outside of Building No. 2 of the HDI Federal Center. Site demolition work includes the removal of a 10 inch storm sewer and concrete paving. New site work consists of the installation of 8 inch and 10 inch PVC SDR 26 storm sewers, coring existing manholes, placing a new catch basin and cleanouts and replacing concrete paving and a concrete ramp. Landscape work includes finish grading and seeding all disturbed areas. The performance period shall be 90 days after issuance of Notice to Proceed. This project is set-aside for HUBZone Business Concerns. NAICS is 237110 and estimated construction magnitude is between $25,000 $100,000. This solicitation will be issued on or about April 24, 2009, the date for receipt of proposals will be stated in the solicitation. Solicitation will be posted electronically at www.fbo.gov. Contractors will have electronic access to this solicitation at this website. A pre-proposal conference is tentatively scheduled for May 14, 2009 (actual date information will be contained in the solicitation). Offerors will be responsible for downloading the solicitation and for monitoring FedBizOpps for amendments and/or additional information. In order to download the solicitation document, Contractor's shall be registered in the CCR and have a valid DUNS number. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. This is a negotiated procurement. The number of offers received, the identity of offerors, and the amount of any offer or relative standing of any offer will not be disclosed. Proposals will be evaluated on price alone.
