- NASA will host industry day for the Information Technology (IT) InfrastructureIntegration Program (I3P) on April 21, 2009 from 9:00 AM EST to 4:30 PM EST and April 22,2009 from 9:00 AM EST to 2:45 PM EST. The event will be held at the Andrew W. MellonAuditorium located at 1301 Constitution Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20004. This industryday will focus on providing insight into NASAs I3P requirement which is comprised of thefollowing five (5) procurements:1.NASA Integrated Communication Services (NICS) 2.Enterprise Applications Service Technologies (EAST) 3.Agency Consolidated End User Services (ACES) 4.Web Enterprise Service Technologies (WEST)5.NASA Enterprise Data Center (NEDC)REGISTRATION INFORMATION Interested parties are required to pre-register for Industry Day via the NASA I3Pwebsite: http://i3p-acq.ksc.nasa.gov. All interested parties must register by FRIDAY,APRIL 17, 2009. Registration is required for each attendee. Interested Parties arelimited to two (2) attendees per company. The website will provide further eventlogistics. REGISTRATION ENDS ON FRIDAY, APRIL 17, 2009. GOALSThe goals of Industry Day are to: 1.Communicate NASAs I3P acquisition plans.2.Describe IT infrastructure requirements at the various NASA Centers.3.Promote competition.4.Solicit input on NASA strategic IT approach from industry. 5.Establish an interested parties list. 6.Introduce key government personnel to include roles & responsibilities.QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS This Industry Day will focus on current IT Infrastructure requirements, provide insightinto NASAs five (5) I3P procurements, information regarding the structure of the plannedprocurements, and other pertinent information. NASA will NOT conduct an open question andanswer session as a part of this meeting. Questions related to the I3P acquisition willbe considered if received via email at i3p-acq@nasa.gov no later than May 27, 2009. Allquestions and answers will be made available on the NASA I3P website athttp://i3p-acq.ksc.nasa.gov Note 1: The I3P acquisition is comprised of five (5) component procurements that areorganized and managed by an assigned NASA Center. Note 2: Draft Request for Proposals (DRFPs) for the component procurements are scheduledto be released on April 20, 2009. After the draft RFPs are released, Pre-proposalConferences may be held to allow industry an opportunity to ask questions related to theDRFPs. Note 3: Interested parties are limited to two (2) attendees per company. SEATING ISLIMITED, therefore seating is only guaranteed for attendees who have pre-registered. Onboth days, a copy of your Industry Day registration confirmation (to be sent to you viaemail) will be required for admittance into the Auditorium. Note 4: All registered companies will be posted on the Interested Parties list. Question& Answers and Industry Day charts will be posted on the website as it becomes available.Note 5: Industry Day is for information and planning purposes and is not to be construedas a commitment by the Government. The Government will not pay for informationsolicited.
