- Presolicitation Notice W9124A-05-B-0001 18 March 2009 Small Business HubZone Set Aside The Information Technology, E-Commerce, and Commercial Contracting Center, Directorate of Contracting, Operations Branch, Fort Huachuca, Arizona will issue a Request for Bid for painting exterior and interior Government owned facilities as required at Fort Huachuca, Arizona. This requirement is a total Small Business HubZone set aside for a Construction Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract. Contractor shall furnish all paint, labor, equipment and materials for painting the exterior and interior of Government owned facilities as required. Buildings to be painted shall in most cases be occupied. Work includes painting of porch decks and routine preparation such as caulking of openings, patching of holes, and repair of window glazing, masonry cracks and voids, and plaster. Work will be performed on Fort Huachuca, Arizona. Awards will be made to offerors whose bids, responsive and conforming to the IFB, are determined to be most advantageous to the Government in terms of price and other price related factors.This is not a solicitation for a Requirements Contract. The estimated range with a period of performance for one-year base period and four one-year option periods is more than $10,000,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 238320- Painting and Wall Covering Contractors. The Government intends to award without conducting discussions, therefore, the Offeror's initial proposal shall contain its best terms. Upon conclusion of evaluations the name of the apparent successful offeror will be provided to the Small Business Administration (SBA), Phoenix office, for an eligibility determination. The Government reserves the right to contact the SBA at anytime during the evaluation process to determine eligibility of an offeror. Upon release to the public, the solicitation W9124A-09-B-0001 will be available via the Internet at the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi or FedBizOps at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Offerors are responsible for routinely checking the websites for any possible solicitation amendments that may be issued. Proposal due date and time will be included in the solicitation.
