Description

NAVAIR intends to go sole source to Lockheed Martin Corporation (LM) to modify up to three (3) KC-130J Aircraft to include a Targeting Sensor, Operating Station, Stand-off Precision Guided Munitions, Hellfire Missiles, and 30mm Cannon Gun. This modification is referred to as Harvest Hawk. As the sole source designer, developer, and manufacturer of KC-130J aircraft, LM is uniquely qualified to meet the United States Marine Corps (USMC) summer 2009 deployment schedule. This synopsis is published for information purposes only. Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit for or award a contract. There is no commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation, to make an award or awards, or to be responsible for any monies expended by any interested parties before award of a contract for the effort mentioned herein.
