- Description
- The issuance of this amendment does not extend the closing date of the solicitation. 1. Below is a question that is submitted to all responders to the solicitation W15QKN-09-R-0476. Question: What is the relationship between the Feedbox Support, 9348215 and theM249 Soft Pack? Drawing 9348202 is identified as the next assembly for the Feedbox Support. Drawing 9348202 is not included in the TDP provided for this solicitation. Answer: The Feedbox Support (9348215) is referenced on sheet 3 and sheet 4 of the final assenbly drawing for the 200 Round Soft Pack (13020698) for testing purposes during first article and lot acceptances only. The Feedbox Support is also commonly called the Dovetail and it is welded to the Receiver (9348202) to hold the ammunition magazine (such as the 200 Round Soft Pack) during firing. It is not an item that will be procured for this contract. Drawing 9348202 is not needed for the testing and is not included in the TDP. 2. Submission of the proposals shall be made to the Picatinny address stated in the Solicitation W15QKN-09-R-0476. If an offeror chooses to hand deliver their proposal, they must contact the contract specialist at least three (days) prior to the closing of the solicitation so that a visitor pass can be issued for the offeror. 3.
