GOVERNMENT SOURCES SOUGHT- THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS, NO AWARD WILL RESULT FROM THIS SOURCES SOUGHT, THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS ONLY TO GATHER INFORMATION AND IDENTIFY POTENTIAL OFFERORS- The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City is searching for interested parties who can provide non-personal technical support services to analyze diver's air for U.S. Navy ships and military shore units worldwide. The program also requires analysis of non-diving gas samples for military units worldwide. The Supervisor of Diving has directed that each breathing air source used by Navy divers must be sampled and analyzed semi-annually. The non-diver samples must be sampled and analyzed quarterly. Historically, approximately two thousand four hundred (2400) total samples are tested each year, meeting the sampling needs of approximately five hundred and sixty (560) military activities. The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City is searching for interested parties that would be! able to provide (a) transportable equipment for collecting gas samples from various pressure sources and (b) services for analyzing samples collected from these sources, as well as providing a database and website to track all actions. The company shall update the website twice daily and download analytical reports daily at noon and NLT 1800 CST. It would also be the company's responsibility to maintain and monitor the website. It is required that the laboratory performing the analysis be accredited by the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA), the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA), or the National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP).
