- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Fayetteville, Virginia (VAMC Fayetteville) is seeking potential sources to provide routine x-ray films for eligible veteran beneficiaries as referred by the Wilmington Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) a part of VA Medical Center, Fayetteville, N.C. The Contractor's place of business must be within the city limits of Wilmington, N.C. The CBOC is located at 736 Medical Center Drive, Wilmington, N.C. 28345. The contractor must possess all licenses, permits, accreditation's and certificates as required by law. The contractor shall provide all necessary equipment and personnel to perform Radiology Services. The Contractors facility must meet all federal, state, and local fire and life safety codes. The facility must be accessible and convenient for wheelchair patients and other handicapped or disabled veterans. Upon completion of the films and reports, the contractor shall provide an original transcribed report to the VAMC within twenty- four (24) hours on urgent requests and (48) hours on routine requests. If an emergent condition exists, the report will be called to the Wilmington CBOC immediately. The contractor must be capable of meeting VHA's National Performance Standard which requires a verified radiology report within 48 hours of the registration date/time of the procedure. Coverage is required Monday through Friday 7:30 AM through 5:00 P.M. Cost basis/reimbursement will be by Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) codes. An estimated 120 patients per month or 1,440 per year will be referred on an as needed basis. The NAICS code for this requirement is 621512. Size Standard is $12.5M. This is a sources sought notice only. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. Responses to this notice should include the following: name and address of company/provider, number of radiologists employed by firm; business size (large or small); identify whether or not firm falls into any of the following socioeconomic categories - 8(a), HUBZone, Service Disabled Veteran-Owned; firms experience in providing imaging services. Information on imaging services for current and/or previously preformed for the VA Medical Center and/or other government entities to include contract numbers estimated annual number of procedures and coverage provided per week. Any other pertinent information which demonstrates firm's ability to meet the above requirement. The business must be registered in the Central Contract Registration at http://www.ccr.gov/.
