- NSN(s) 6105-01-091-5663 Estimated Annual Demand Quantity (1668 for base and 4 option year periods) Unit of Issue: EA Item and Part Number#: (Cage 25140) 166A468 & ( Cage 57090) 230A110 All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. The subject requirement is for acquisition of 1 NSN(s) with various end items. This proposed procurement includes items within the Federal Supply Class 6105. See Note(s): 12 and 26. 12: One or more of the items under this acquisition may be subject to an Agreement on Government Procurement approved and implemented in the United States by the Trade Agreements Act of 1979. All offers shall be in the English language and in U.S. dollars. All interested suppliers may submit an offer. 26: Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. The requirement will result in an award of an Indefinite Quantity Contract for which delivery orders may be placed for one (1) year. The solicitation will be available in FedBizOpps on or about April 29, 2009 at http://dibbs.dscc.dla.mil/rfp. The scope of this contract includes the acquisitioning for one 1B code and part number item. This signifies that this part must be acquired from a manufacturing source or sources specified on a source control, altered item, or selected item drawing as defined by the current version of ASME Y14.24M. Suitable technical data, Government data rights, or manufacturing knowledge are not available to permit acquisition from other sources, nor qualification testing of another part, nor use of a second source part in the intended application. The required data or data rights are not in Government possession and cannot be economically obtained. If at least two sources exist, AMCs 1 or 2 are valid. The delivery for this acquisition will be on an FOB Destination basis. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed 5 years. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, and past performance evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. This solicitation will be issued as an unrestricted acquisition with other than full and open competition. Therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract parts from approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C.2304(c)(1).
