- Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division (NSWC PHD), Port Hueneme, California anticipates a requirement to support the Air Dominance Department (Code A68) to provide Microwave Power Monitors for the Aegis Fire Control System. The applicable NSN(s) are: 6625-01-255-2014 and 1285-01-235-4209. The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334515. NSWC-PHD intends to issue a Firm Fixed Price Contract on a sole source basis to Telephonics located at 770 Park Avenue, Huntington, NY 11743 for these items. The anticipated quantity is for the procurement of ten (10) 1285-01-235-4209 monitors and twenty (20) 6625-01-255-2014 monitors. These items are in support of the Aegis Fire Control System. Telephonics is the proprietary sole source for these monitors. These units are unique to Telephonics and Telephonics has proprietary rights to their drawings. They are the only company to have supplied procurement specification control drawing 5! 365072, environmental, reliability and dimensional requirements for the monitor. The actual circuitry and components used to meet the performance requirement is controlled by Telephonics.
