Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The National Capital Region Contracting Center, Contracting Center of Excellence (CCE), on behalf of the Office of the Inspector General, Department of Defense intends to awarded a contract for a Court Reporter to attend and transcribe the sworn testimonies of complainants and all witnesses participating in an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) fact finding investigation. (to view Performance Work Statement (PWS) and Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (OASP) see Description of services to be acquired section at the bottom of this solicitation). This action will result in a Firm Fixed Price contract for a base year plus 3 Option Years. Solicitation number W91WAW-09-R-0076 is applicable and is issued as a request for quote (RFP). The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-03. This is a SBA Certified HUBZONE Set-Aside. The NAICS code for this contract action is 561492 and the small business size standard is $7.0M. The anticipated award date is 1 May 2009. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered. Offeror proposals will be evaluated on the basis of lowest price technically acceptable. Offerors shall submit commercially available literature and pricing for their services that demonstrates a understanding of the Performance Work Statement. All quotes must be submitted to the Point of Contact (POC) via email no later than 21 April 2009; 5:00PM EST.
