Description
The Mission Installation Contracting Command Center Fort Knox is conducting market research for the following requirement: Army Reserve Database Maintenance, providing operational and maintenance support for software which provides USAREC access to data elements contained in Total Army Personnel Database Reserve (TAPDB-R). This includes operating and maintaining existing systems and/or databases, amending existing systems and/or databases, developing new systems or databases, and coordinating feedback from functional users and/or managers. The contractor shall also coordinate address and phone updates using approved sources. This work includes but is not limited to the following; "Operate and maintain the USAR Market Suitability Study (MSS) user interface and databases "Update current and historical data files on a monthly, quarterly, and annual (inclusive) basis. "Maintain USAR MSS user interface and data file code to support. "Maintain MSS model algorithms. "Maintain documentation relevant to USAR MSS systems, techniques, and procedures. "Furnish and distribute database updates, on a monthly basis, to the functional users or managers. "Provide ad hoc data queries, analysis and reports as requested by USAREC functional users or managers and approved by the COTR. "Identify, track, diagnose, alert functional users, recommend solutions for, and resolve data anomalies or indications of a change of system state. "Maintain close liaison with COTR who will coordinate and consolidate system change requests from functional users or managers. "Perform travel as necessary, up to maximum amount indicated in schedule of costs. "Coordinate or effect training for functional users or managers. "Coordinate or provide access to necessary systems for functional users or managers. "Purchase geographic and demographic data, as required and approved by the COTR, to support MSS subsystem, up the maximum amount indicated in the schedule of costs. "Coordinate submission and processing of selected records through a COTR approved address and telephone number validation process. The anticipated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 541511; small business size standard is $25 Million. This announcement is not a request for proposal. It is a market research too being used to determine procurement strategy. Appropriate procurement strategy will be determined after consideration of industry response to this sources sought announcement. The government is not obligated to, and will not, pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this announcement. Responses to this announcement should be e-mailed to Jonea. All interested business concerns are required to respond to this SOURCES SOUGHT announcement via email by April 22, 2009, 5:00, p.m., E.D.T. Responses shall not exceed 7 pages and must include company point of contact, email address, telephone number and fax number. The information provided in response to this SOURCES SOUGHT announcement will be used to finalize the acquisition strategy for this requirement.
