Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, in conjunction with FAR 13.5, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a separate Request for Proposal (RFP) will not be issued. The solicitation number is 9TC430 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-32 and DFARS change notice 20090115. This purchase is restricted to 100% Small Business concern. The NAICS code is 611699 and the size standard is $7.0M employees. This is a brand name or equal requirement for tactical rescue and extraction training and Nexus Extraction Tools TM. Please state discount terms and warranty information. The contractor shall provide the following items: ITEM 0001: QTY: 1 EA, Tactical rescue and extraction training for 30 students. Period of Performance for training will be from 27 April 2009 - 30 September 2009. Location: Creech AFB, NV. ITEM 0002: QTY-1 EA, Tactical rescue and extraction training for 30 students. Period of Performance for training will be from 27 April 2009 - 30 September 2009. Location: Lackland AFB, TX. ITEM 0003: QTY-1 EA, Tactical rescue and extraction training for 30 students. Period of Performance for training will be from 27 April 2009 - 30 September 2009. Location: Ft Dix, NJ. ITEM 0004: QTY- 250 EA, Nexus Extraction Tool TM (NET TM ) with Modular Lightweight Load-Carrying Equipment (MOLLE) Pouch in Army Combat Uniform (ACU). The NET TM is pre-rigged for rapid extraction of a casualty or to be used more efficiently and effectively for anything a rope can accomplish. No more tying knots with gloved hands as the NET TM can be connected with a simple choker connection to equipment, an anchor point, or to another NET TM. This tactical pouch provides for the ideal stowage of the NET TM MOLLE compatible, it can be arranged on gear to best accommodate the individual operator's preference. Description: The NET TM is 100% American made and constructed of durable MIL-SPEC webbing with a minimum break strength (MBS) of 4,000 lbs and a rated capacity of 640 lbs. It consists of five (5), one (1) inch, tubular nylon loops, each two (2) feet in diameter, and is ten (10) feet end-to-end. The NET TM weighs approximately 10.7 ounces, is tactically color-coded for ease of use, and can be comfortably stowed in the cargo pocket of the utility uniform. 2-year unlimited warranty on both the NET TM and the NET TM pouch. Mfr: Contact Front The tactical rescue and extraction training for CLINS 0001-0003 will consist of the following: - Proficiency in employment and carry and drag techniques - Mastery of basic knots and the fundamental principles of mechanical advantage - Familiarization with combat first-aid and casualty assessment - Introduce confined-space, restricted opening, and low-profile rescue - Reinforce small unit planning and execution skills NOTE: IF QUOTING EQUAL ITEMS PLEASE INCLUDE EXTENDED DESCRIPTIONS AND AVAILABLE PICTURES OF ITEMS.
