Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Patuxent River, MD intends to issue a sole source delivery order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00421-05-G-0003 with Rockwell Collins, 400 Collins Road, Cedar Rapids, Iowa 52498 to repair MFD-255P Electronic Flight Displays, CP-255P Electronic Flight Displays Controls, and CDU-7000 Control Display Unit. Rockwell Collins is the only known source because they are the designer, developer, and manufacturer and has sole possession and proprietary rights to all data, drawings, and specifications required for these repairs. Rockwell Collins is the only company that has the ability, resources, technology and documentation necessary to repair the MFD-255P Electronic Flight Displays, CP-255P Electronic Flight Displays Controls, and CDU-7000 Control Display Unit.
