Description
Baltimore-Washington Parkway Bridge Rail Repair, Prince Georges County, Maryland. The principle work of this contract includes all equipment, labor, materials and supplies needed for the repair of the bridge rail along the Left and Right Side of Southbound Lanes passing over ramp from Eastbound MD Rt 50 to Northbound Baltimore-Washington Parkway, Prince Georges County, Maryland. An award will be made in accordance with Public Law 100-656, Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, and set aside for an Emerging Small Business. Quotations under this acquisition are solicited from emerging small business concerns only. Quotations that are not from an emerging small business shall not be considered and shall be rejected. All contractors experienced in this type of construction work may compete for this contract. Estimated project magnitude is less than $25,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 237310 with a small business size of $33.5 million of annual average gross revenues of the total concern for the last 3 fiscal years. A small business concern is defined as a concern (including all of its subsidiaries) having less than or equal to $33.5 million annual average gross revenues of the total concern for the last 3 fiscal years. An emerging small business is defined as a small business concern whose size is no greater than 50 percent of the numerical size standard applicable to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to a contracting opportunity. The request for quotation for this procurement will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov website on or about 4/16/2009. TELEPHONE OR FAX REQUESTS FOR THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Contractors must register on the website in order to retrieve copies of the solicitation and any possible amendments. Instructions are contained on the website for downloading solicitation and attachments. It is the responsibility of all interested contractors to acknowledge ALL amendments to the solicitation. To download the solicitation all interested offerors must have a DUNS number. To receive a DUNS number please contact Dun & Bradstreet at 1-800-333-0505. All quotes shall be prepared in accordance with section L of the RFQ, and delivered by express mail, hand carried or emailed to Ronald_Palau-Hernandez@nps.gov by 4 PM Local Prevailing Time, April 28, 2009.
