Description: Mission and Installation Contracting Center, Fort Eustis, VA anticipates awarding a Firm-Fixed Price Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) Contact for Programmed and Unprogrammed Drydocking, Cleaning, Painting, Repairs and Modifications to U.S. Army Active and Reserve Vessels stationed on the East Coast. There are 57 vessels on the East Coast; four Logistics Support Vessels (LSVs) (Class A); ten Landing Craft Utility 2000 (LCUs) (Class A); two Large Tug (LT-800) (Class A); one Large Tug (LT-Flt 3) (Class A); four Small Tugs (ST-900s) (Class A-1); two Crane Barge Derrick (BD) (Class C); twenty-two Landing Craft Mechanized (LCMs-8s) (Class B); two Barge Deck Cargo (BCs) (Class C); two Barge Liquid Cargo (BG) (Class C); one Side Loadable Warping Tug (SLWT); six Modular Warping Tugs (MWT) and one Causeway Ferry (CF). Area of Consideration for this procurement will be the United States East Coast from and including New Jersey through and including Florida. A competitive Firm-Fixed-Price, multiple award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract is anticipated with a 12-month base period and two (2) one-year option periods. This requirement is solicited as full and open. The applicable NAICS code is 336611, Ship Building and Repairing, with a size standard of 1,000 people. No paper copies of the solicitation will be issued. All other documents including Solicitation Number W911S0-09-R-0017 and all amendments to the solicitation will be likewise posted on the ASFI website https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi on or about May 1, 2009.
