Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial itemsprepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested in response to this notice and a written solicitation will NOT be issued. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ). Submit only written Quotes for RFQ DE-RQ75-09SW90437. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-31. This acquisition is a Small Business Set-Aside. The associated NAICS code is 334513 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. This RFQ contains three (3) line items. The line item descriptions are as follows: CLIN 0001 HACH Model DS5X Extended Deployment. Includes central cleaning unit that removes fouling from DO, pH, ISEs, and Chlorophyll sensors; plus 120,000 measurements Internal Memory; Hydras 3 LT software; temperature; RS-232; SDI-12, and RS-485 data formats; weighted sensor guard; calibration and storage cups; manual and maintenance kit. Part Number DS5XBASE, & DS5XCLEAN, plus a 2 year warranty CLIN 0002 LDO Probe Option, range of 0-60mg/L range, accuracy+/- -0.1 mg/L @ <8mg/L and +/- -0.2 mg/L @ > 8-20 mg/L, +/- 10% of reading > 20 mg/L, resolution 0.01 mg/L. Luminescent DO probe must not include any moving parts, have a response time of 30 seconds for a true reading, have a depth rating of 200m, must have screw off caps that can be replaced without any tools and must be lifetime based method. Luminescent DO must be compliant with HAch Method 103 60 as recommended by USEPA. Part number 007455, plus a 2 year warranty CLIN 0003 Graphite Conductivity Sensor, measures conductivity using a open cell graphite design in the range of 0 100 mS/cm with an accuracy of +/- 0.5% and a resolution of 4 digits. The output shall be capable of being displayed and calibrated in mS/cm or uS/cm. Sensor shall be covered by a 2-year warranty. The instrument shall also have the capability of providing calculated outputs for salinity, total dissolved solids, resistivity, and specific conductance. The conductance cell must have available as an output a salinity calculation based on the conductivity and temperature measurements in the range of 0-70 PPT with an accuracy of 1.0% or +/- 0.1 PPT (whichever is greater) and a resolution of 0.01 PPT. Part number S5COND. All quotes must be able to support Sutron SCPs 8200 Communication SI 12 platform and Hydras software. All quotes must be FOB Destination. PROVISIONS: The following FAR provisions apply to this solicitation: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation -- Commercial Items (completed as follows): (a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.
