- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.603, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a separate solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number FA6703-09-T-0006 is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under FAR Part 13. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-32. This acquisition is being solicited on an unrestricted basis. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 532412 with a small business size standard of 500. Interested parties must quote on all line items. Partial quotes will not be accepted. Only one (1) award will be made as a result of this combined synopsis/solicitation. The following services are required by Dobbins ARB, Georgia: Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) 0001 - Four (4) each, Lump Sum, Hydraulic Crane Rental DESCRIPTION: The contractor shall provide Four (4) each Hydraulic Crane FFP Terex RT230E-A or Grove Rough Terrain (R/T) with 30 Ton Capacity, Equipped with 94' or 105' Main Boom, 26' to 43' Folding Swing-On Jib, Block & Ball (or equivalent to meet these required specifications.) Cranes to be delivered on Friday, 1 May 09 and picked up for return on Friday, 8 May 09. Payment will be made for each crane for the period of performance. Crane rental is without operators. The contractor shall provide fully-fueled cranes with adequate levels of motor oil and any other fluids required for proper operation of the cranes. The contractor shall perform any maintenance, servicing and emergency repairs necessary for the proper operation of the cranes. Contractor shall deliver and subsequently pick up the cranes. Rental shall be inclusive of any delivery/freight charges and fuel surcharges. The Government will award a purchase order resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose quote, conforming to the solicitation, is most advantageous to the Government. The following factors shall be used to evaluate quotes: Price and technical acceptability (Cranes must meet the required specifications.) Quotes are to include any discount terms. All quotes shall meet all instructions put forth in this combined synopsis/solicitation. Award will be made to a single source. Reference the solicitation number on the quote. All interested parties may submit a written quote/proposal to 94 CONF/LGC, 1538 Atlantic Avenue, Dobbins ARB, GA 30069-4824. All responsible offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database at www.ccr.gov in order to be considered for award.
