Description
This Market Survey Notice is being conducted to determine the size and type of businesses able to design and construct a new breakwater system including all anchorage devises and appurtenances for a complete system, to replace approximately 600 linear feet of existing creosote-treated log breakwaters at Elk Creek, 400 linear feet of existing creosoted-treated log breakwaters Stevens Creek and 1020 linear feet of existing steel breakwaters (17 sections @ 60 feet each) by Wright-McGill as well as 520 feet of double metal pipe (pontoon style, 26 sections @ 20 fett each) at Lake Fork. The new breakwaters are anticipated to be constructed of steel tube or other approved units capable of withstanding the wind and hydraulic forces that exist at the site and providing the appropriate freeboard at Curecanti National Recreational Area, Colorado. The performance period for this project is 90 days and the magnitude of this construction project ranges from $500,000 to $1,000,000. The NAICS code for this project is 237990 with a size standard of $33.5M. This project is planned to be advertised in May and awarded by July. The responses should include in the body of email (NOT AS AN ATTACHEMENT) the following information: (1) Business Name and Address, (2) Point of Contact Name and Phone Number, (3) DUNS code(s), (4) Type of Business: ie. 8A, HUBZone, Service Disabled Veteran-Owned, etc. DO NOT RESPOND IF YOU ARE A LARGE BUSINESS. (5) Bonding Capacity-per project and aggregate amount (6) Description of 3 projects your company has performed that are similar to this one in the last five years. The description should only include: 1. Project Title 2. Brief project description (small paragraph - just enough to determine similar experience). 3. Project Location 4. Project Dollar Value. 5. Percentage your company self performed. This Sources Sought is issued for market research purposes in accordance with FAR Part 10. No solicitation is being issued at this time. The Government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this sources sought synopsis. (Note: This is not a request for proposal or an announcement of a solicitation).
