Description

TRAINING SHIP (T/S) EMPIRE STATE MOORED AT SUNY COLLEGE, BRONX, NY SERVICES REQUIRED ON OR BEFORE APR 27, 2009 AND CONCLUDE BEFORE MAY 6, 2009 FOR ALIGNEMENT W/ SHIP DEPARTURE. The Contractor shall be a Qualified Marine Refrigeration Repair facility and will provide all labor, materials and equipment to perform repairs to the Ships Domestic and Cargo Refrigeration Plants and accomplish system grooming for proper operation to include: CLIN 0001-SYSTEM LEAK TEST AND THERMO EXPANSION VALVE (TXV) REPAIRS AND CLIN 0002-SYSTEM START UP AND COMMISSIONING. Ships domestic Refrigeration Plant: Two Carrier 5F compressor assemblies servicing 3 Freeze and 2 Chill boxes. Refrigerant is R-134A. Ships Cargo Refrigeration Plant: Two Carrier 5H-80 compressors servicing 3 Freeze and 2 Chill boxes. Refrigerant is R-134A.
