- Description
- Furnish labor, equipment, supplies, and materials, except for specified Government-furnished property, to build 270 rods of four strand barbed wire fence, 8 sections jack & rail fence; construct stress panels, build gates. There will be some clearing and falling of trees. There will be five (5 ) bid schedule items as follows: 1) Barbed Wire Fence (4 wire), 270 rods; 2) Barbed wire Gate, 5 ea; 3) Set wood Post, 34 ea; 4) set brace rails, 23 ea; 5) set jack & rails, 8 each. Work under this contract is located in Silver Bow County, Montana, approximately 22 miles south of Butte, Mt. Contractor will have 35 days to complete this project after the Notice to Proceed is officially issued. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. In accordance with FAR 28.102-1, a 100 percent payment protection will be required for contracts greater than $30,000, and will be required before award is made, and may be submitted by an Irrevocable Letter of Credit, Certificate of Deposit, or Payment Bond. This is set aside for small business. The Naics Code is 238990. The small business size standard is $13 million. The solicitation for this requirement will be posted at "https://www.fedconnect.net" on/about May 1, 2009. It will close on/about 6/1/2009. No hard copies of the solicitation will be sent out by this office. A tentative site tour has been scheduled for May 12, 2009 at 10:00 AM at the BLM FIeld Office, 106 North Parkmont, Butte, MT. Additional information regarding the site tour will be sited in the solicitation. Contractors being considered for award of a government contract must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for contract award. Contractors shall also be registered in the Online Representations and Certifications (ORCA). Information on CCR registration can be obtained via the internet at "http://www.ccr.gov" and the Orca data base can be found at "http://orca.bpn.gov".
