Description

The Naval Air Systems Command intends to award three separate efforts as Delivery Orders under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-09-G-0005 on a sole source basis with Lockheed Martin Systems Integration. These efforts will include all labor and materials required to perform the Non-Recurring Engineering (NRE) effort to overcome obsolescence issues associated with the Technical Insertion (TI) Mission Computer (MC) and TI Flight Management Computer (FMC); TI Audio Management Cockpit (AMC); and TI Embedded GPS/Inertial (EGI) Navigation System. This action is being awarded on a sole source basis to Lockheed Martin Systems Integration, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 “Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements;” because they are the only qualified source which possesses the detailed knowledge of the MH-60 design to allow them to perform these efforts in a timely and cost effective manner.
