- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs has a requirement for laundry equipment at the VA Medical Center, Lake City, FL. The VA is seeking sources for a government acquisition to provide: One (1) Flatwork Ironing System; one (1) Large Piece Folder; one (1) Cart Dumper/ Soil Conveyor System. The VA may award multiple contracts from this solicitation. The applicable NAICS code is 333312. The size of the award is under $500,000.00. Award will be based on the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable Offer(s). This acquisition is RESTRICTED to small businesses. RFP No. M6-Q3-09 will be available on or about May 4, 2009. Solicitation documents and specifications will only be available via the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) homepage located at https://www.fbo.gov/. Offerors are responsible for printing paper copies of the solicitation. Hard copies will not be available and no written or fax requests will be accepted. It is the contractor's responsibility to monitor FBO for any amendments. It is projected that offers will be due on June 12, 2009 at 2:00 A.M. CST and must be hand-carried or mailed to: National Acquisition Center (001AL-A2-3a), National Contracts Division, P.O. Box 76, Building 37, 1st Avenue, One block North of 22nd Street, Hines, IL 60141, ATTN: Tony Crumpton. All interested parties must be registered in VETS 100 per Title 38, USC, Section 4212(d), and with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) as prescribed in FAR 52.204-7. CCR can be obtained by accessing the Internet http://www.ccr.gov or by calling 1-888-227-2423 or 269-961-5757. CCR must be obtained before award can be made. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date.
