Description
The US Army, Corps of Engineers, St. Louis District, is seeking small businesses for construction work that consists of clearing, grubbing, and stripping; embankment; excavation; stone materials; geosynthetic and geotextile; H-Piles; subdrain pipe system; chain link fence; staff gages; concrete; miscellaneous metal work; plastic fabrications; painting; metal building systems; mechanical equipment and fuel system; waste tank; electrical work and establishment of turf to construction a new pump station. This is 100% Small Business Set-Aside. This is a Request for Proposal (RFP Solicitation). There will be no public bid opening. The basis for award will be Best Value Technique. The Government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the low offeror. The NAICS Code is 237990, the size standard is $33.5 million (average annual receipts for preceding three fiscal years). Estimated magnitude of construction in terms of physical characteristics and estimated pric erange is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Electronic copies are not permitted. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be posted on the solicitation package. The solicitation is expected to be issued on or about May 5, 2009 and will be available on line at both https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/solicitation or http://www.mvs.usace.army.mil/ Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring these web sites for the release of the solicitation package and any other pertinent information (i.e., amendments) and for downloading their own copy of the solicitation. The Government will not provide paper copies of the solicitation or drawings. All interested parties must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database and have completed On-Line Representation and Certifications Application (ORCA)prior to any award of a contract.
