Description The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Privatized Corrections Contracting, Office, Washington, D.C. is seeking quotes from sources having the ability to provide community-based outpatient Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services. Services must be within 5 miles (in any direction) of the Residential Reentry Center (RRC) located at 5031 HWY 79 South, Rapid City, SD 57701 and should be accessible to local Public Transportation. Performance periods under this contract will be for a one-year base period to begin on October 1, 2009 with four (4) one-year option renewal periods with service ending (if all options are renewed) on September 30, 2014. The services required for this contract include a Base Year, Option Year One, Option Year Two, Option Year Three and Option Year Four, respectively. The Following services are required and may be sub-contracted to another licensed contractor. BASE YEAR (10/1/2009 - 9/30/2010): Estimated number of inmates 35: SUBSTANCE ABUSE TREATMENT: Intake Assessment & Report (2011) (one per inmate) for 4 inmates = 4 assessments Individual Counseling (2010) (48-30 minute sessions = 1 unit) x 35 inmates = 1,680 units Group Counseling (2020) (72-30 minute sessions = 1 unit) x 35 inmates = 2,520 units Family Counseling (2030) (16-30 minute sessions = 1 unit) x 4 inmates = 64 units Family Group Counseling (2040) (16-30 minute sessions = 1 unit) x 4 inmates = 64 units MENTAL HEALTH TREATMENT: Intake Assessment & Report (5011) (one per inmate) for 2 inmates = 2 assessments Medication Monitoring (6051)(1 per visit) = 8 units Intensive Outpatient Counseling (2080) (Estimated average number of 30 minute counseling sessions per inmate. Contractors who administratively manage subcontractors from a State outside of the State where services are provided must ensure they have all appropriate licenses for the State in which they are located as well as the State in which services are conducted. The contractor must have documented experience working with an inmate population and understand the criminal justice system. The services shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment (TDAT) most recent Statement of Work dated January 2009. The request for quotation will be available on or after May 14, 2009 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities web site http: //www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the quotation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions.
