Description
The South Texas Veterans Health Care System (STVHCS) intends to award a 3 month interim contract for radiopharmaceuticals to Cardinal Health 414 Inc. Based on market research it is anticipated that Cardinal Health 414 Inc is a sole provider for the radiopharmaceutical products required in accordance with additional requirements. In addition is providing products the following is required: Contractor and all sub-contractors must be licensed by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission and be regularly established in the business of providing radiopharmaceuticals. Offerors must provide copies of licenses and certifications along with the offer. Contractor will provide quality assurance reports upon request, employ highly experienced and have monitored and controlled clean room conditions. Radiopharmaceuticals may be ordered up to 5:00 pm each day. Orders will be placed on an as needed basis. Delivery is required within 60 minutes of placing the order business hours, 0730-1700, per day 5 days per week, carrying a proper bill of lading and emergency response instruction with each shipment of radioactive material. If needed, the Contractor will provide unit-dose radiopharmaceuticals on Saturday and Sunday. Contractor will provide leukocyte and platelet labeling services, including weekends. If the volume warrants, leukocyte and platelet labeling will be available as same day service. Contractor will provide monthly invoices with complete itemized list of all products provided during the month, listed by prescription number, date and time and individual cost per item listed. Orders will be placed daily on an as needed basis by authorized employees. Individual radiopharmaceutical will be provided in unit dose form and will be delivered at the request of the VA. Contractor will provide 24-hour on-call service for emergency procedures. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 13 using simplified acquisition procedures. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes; however, any firm that believes it can meet the above requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining sources for future radiopharmaceutical solicitation. A solicitation for the individual items required and estimated quantities will be available in the future on Fedbizopps.gov website.
